We've been to Kauai many times but some how have missed Poipu Beach. Next time in Kauai we will have to make a point of going there. You should take pictures for travel magazines, you could get a lot of people to go on vacations!!!

Wonderful. Great time of the day for this shot because the high noon gave the palms a star like shadow on the ground. Very intreaging, great color. Way to do. Might be fun to revisit the spot and take a picture from the same spot, angel, time of day and see what has changed. Hi to Betty.

It is a great picture of a great spot. My Wife & I have been there a couple of times over the years & all though the Poipu Beach area is not our favorite area on Kauai ( Kalapaki Beach at the Kauai Marriott is) because it is a little dryer than the east side of the Island, I think that Al has taken one of the best pictures of the spot I have seen & has my vote. Now don't get me wrong about Poipu, I love it, but not quite as much as a couple other spots on the Island Also, yes you all should go to Kauai & all the other Islands now as well as later. They are all a Piece of Paradise like Al's picture & right now you can go with many great deals!!!!!!! If you go to Kauai don't miss the chance to see the new Hindu Temple that is being built on the Island(Google Kauai Hindu Temple), you can take a free tour of the Hindu grounds & see the Temple's construction progress (don't know if it's complete as yet). Anyway shut up Reynolds & let other people talk.

The Photo almost looks like a painting. Our niece has a condo on Kauai and last year we took a helicopter ride ove the island. The waterfalls and scenery are spectacular. I thought Maui was great until we visited Kauai. The movie "Jurassic Park" and several others were filmed on Kauai. It is now our favorie of all the islands.

I have never been to Hawaii, but have always wanted to go there. I have pictures in my head of what it is supposed to look like, but they never looked this great. This picture was aptly named and is my idea of paradise also. If I could I would be there relaxing on the beach with a Mai Tai and just soaking all that beauty in.

It's been quite a few years since we have been in Hawaii. For 3 1/2 years Dick had the islands as part of his responsibility as he worked for Coca-Cola at the time. I had many opportunities to visit the islands and enjoyed them all. Great picture.
